Map Value

StatValueAdapter_MapValue maps a Stat's current value to a new value using a configurable Value Mapper.

The mapping first calculates the absolute distance between the Stat's value and the configured Min value, then normalizes that distance to a 0–1 range. The normalized value can optionally be passed through an Animation Curve before the final modifier is applied.

FieldDescription
MapperDefines how the Stat's value is mapped to the resulting value.

Value Mapper

The Value Mapper controls how the input value is transformed.

FieldDescription
MinDefines the minimum value used as the starting point of the mapping range.
MaxDefines the maximum value used to normalize the input value.
Curve MapDetermines whether the normalized value is evaluated through the configured Curve.
CurveDefines the mapping curve applied to the normalized value when Curve Map is enabled.
Final ModifierDetermines how the evaluated value is combined with the configured final value.
Final OffsetThe value added to the evaluated value when Final Modifier is set to Add.
Final Value MultiplierThe value multiplied by the evaluated value when Final Modifier is set to Multiply.

Mapping Process

The input value is first converted into a normalized value:

Normalized Value = Abs(Value - Min) / (Max - Min)

If Curve Map is enabled, the normalized value is evaluated using the configured Curve.

The evaluated value is then modified according to Final Modifier:

  • Add → Final Offset + Evaluated Value
  • Multiply → Final Value Multiplier × Evaluated Value

The normalized value is not clamped: inputs outside Min–Max give values below 0 or above 1.

Example

Rage adds up to +50 % damage: map a Rage Stat of 0–100 to a multiplier of 1–1.5.

FieldValue
Min / Max0 / 100
Curve Mapoff
Final ModifierAdd, Final Offset 1
RageNormalizedAdd 1

500.51.5
10012

To reach 1.5 at full rage instead of 2, turn on Curve Map with a curve from (0, 0) to (1, 0.5).
