Tree Operation

StatValueAdapter_TreeOperation combines two Stats into one value: the incoming Stat and a Secondary Stat, each optionally adapted by its own branch, then merged by a two-input Value Adapter.

incoming Stat ── Input Stat Branch ─────┐
├── Merge Operation ──▶ result
Secondary Stat ── Secondary Stat Branch ┘

Ships for Float and Vector3 (Create › Power › Misc › Value Adapter › Stat › Tree Operation).

FieldDescription
Input Stat BranchA Chain Stat Value Adapter of the same type applied to the incoming Stat. Empty: the incoming Stat's value is used as it is (it must then already be of the adapter's type).
Secondary StatThe second Stat (Stat From: which Actor + which key).
Secondary Stat BranchA Chain adapter applied to the Secondary Stat. Empty: its value is used as it is.
Merge OperationA two-input Value Adapter that receives the secondary value and is applied to the input value — Vector3: Sum, Substract, Direction, Dot, Reflect.

The branches are typed Chain adapters: put a single Alter, Map Value… inside a Chain's Stat Adapter / Adapters list.

Example

A point in front of the caster (dash destination = Position + Direction × 4, flattened):

FieldValue
incoming Statthe Source's Direction
Input Stat BranchVector3 Chain → Stat Adapter: Alter Vector3 (multiply by 4,4,4); Adapters: Project On Plane (up)
Secondary Statthe Source's Position
Merge OperationSum Vector3

A point behind the target, away from the attacker (knockback end point = target Position + 4 × direction from the Source):

FieldValue
incoming Statthe Target's Position
Input Stat BranchVector3 Chain → Stat Adapter: a nested Tree Operation (Secondary = the Source's Position, Merge = Direction Vector3); Adapters: Alter Vector3 × 4
Secondary Statthe Target's Position
Merge OperationSum Vector3

Both are typical End Value Adapters of a Tween Effect.
