Custom Actor

A Custom Actor returns one Actor. Select it wherever an Interaction Actor can be Custom: a Redirector's Relate To or Redirected Effect Source, a Stat From (to read a Stat of that Actor), a SrcSep key's Src Actor, a Source Separated Stat's Process Scope.

Write your own by deriving from CustomActor and overriding GetActor(IActorProvider actorProvider, int environmentId). Three ship with Power.

Closest In Sight

Create › Power › Misc › Custom Actor › Closest In Sight

The first Actor of a filtered relation scope — with a Closest In Sight filter, the closest Actor inside the view cone. If nobody passes, it returns a fallback Actor, or nothing.

FieldDescription
Relate ToThe Actor the scope is measured from.
Relation StateWhich relation (e.g. Enemy).
FilterThe Targeting Filter that orders / narrows the scope.
No FallbackReturns nothing when the scope is empty, so a not-null check on the result tells whether anyone is in sight.
Fallback ActorThe Interaction Actor returned when the scope is empty (e.g. Source). Hidden while No Fallback is on.

From Stat

Create › Power › Misc › Custom Actor › From Stat
