Duration Processors

You can find a video tutorial for Duration Modifiers ▶ here.

A DurationModifier Processors modifies the duration of a Modifier when the Modifier is added.

It uses DurationModifier Stats to create Duration Contribution Data, which determines how the Modifier's duration is modified. This allows Modifier durations to be extended or reduced based on configurable contribution types and conditions.

For example, a BuffDurationModifier Stat can be configured with a default value of 2 and a Contribution Type of Multiplier. When assigned as the Duration Modifier Relative of an AttackRateBuff Stat, the DurationModifier Process applies its contribution when the buff is added.

If the original Modifier duration is 10 seconds and the DurationModifier Stat contributes a multiplier of 2, the resulting duration becomes 20 seconds.

DurationModifier Processes also support Stat Checks and Result Attribute Checks, allowing Modifier durations to be modified conditionally based on Stat values or Effect processing results.

See Duration Modifier Stats for more information.

info

Duration modification is performed when the Modifier is initially added. DurationModifier Processes do not continuously modify the duration of an existing Modifier.

Variations

Ships as BS, AS and MAS × Float Int. BS additionally ships a typeless pair that modifies durations without reading a numerable value. See the Processor naming scheme.

The Relative Stat can be any shape — one Processor reads all of them:

Stat shapeUse case
Plain StatLingering Blessing — every buff this Actor receives lasts 50% longer.
Signature Separated listOne DurationModifier Stat extends fire debuffs and shortens ice ones, read through the same relation.
SubjectReads the DurationModifier relation fromUse case
BSThe Target StatStun declares its own duration rule, so every stun on this Actor is shortened by Tenacity.
ASThe Attribute StatThe duration rule travels with PoisonAttack, applying wherever poison lands.
MASEvery Attribute StatAn Effect carrying several Attribute Stats accumulates duration contributions from each.

BSEffectDurationProcess_DurationModifier is the typeless one — it modifies a Modifier's duration on Stats that carry no numerable value.
